Just finished a pair of the forest green socks. This yarn feels rather coarse compared to other sock yarns. It didn't soften up much after the first washing, but may do so with subsequent ones. I bought this yarn b/c I had never tried it before, and have another ball that was a gift. Although the resulting fabric is nice and dense knitted on size 1 US needles, I found it rather boring to work with. Those who don't like bright or busy striping may like it better than I did. One ball was enough to make a pair of socks for my US size 8 women's feet, and have leftover yarn for my Frankensock collection.
