Finely handcrafted by a non-profit women's cooperative of over 400 artisans, "Serena Semi-Solid" yarn is hand spun and hand dyed following traditions passed down from one generation to the next. Superbly crafted in Uruguay of 60% baby alpaca & 40% pima cotton, "Serena" combines two luxurious fibers known for fabulous softness & texture. Then the yarn is hand dyed in large kettles to create a marbelized, subtly striated effect for a gorgeous palette of semi-solid shades.
