"Jawoll" is Lang's superior sock yarn and comes in a lovely array of solid, heathered (melange) & tweed (meliert) colors. It has a touch of nylon & acrylic to enhance the durability of the super-washed wool, each skein contains a bonus spool of matching reinforcement yarn to carry along when knitting the toes & heels, the parts that get the most wear. "Jawoll" is so soft & fine that it can also be used to create beautiful sweaters, gloves, hats, shawls, really any fingering-weight project. You need just 2 skeins for a large pair of men's mid-length socks. Beautifully crafted in Italy of 75% superwash wool, 18% nylon & 7% acrylic.

Wonderful yarn with which to work. Comes in a ton of colors, as you can see .... I have made a few pairs of socks from it, but they seem to pill when washed in the machine. They survive alright, but for any sort of intricate/lacy/textured pattern, I would recommend the wee bit of extra effort required to hand-wash.

Love the Jawoll Reinforcement Thread for sock knitting. I am trying to find 2 spools of turquoise and 1 of teal... out of stock
