"Futura" from Katia is an unusual heavy worsted yarn with random broken stripes throughout. While the majority of the yarn is plied, the broken stripes are boucle which raises the contrasting stripe for more definition. With the exception of the white colorway, the other shades have a black thin strand wrapped around the main color. Made of 60% acrylic and 40% wool, this fiber will make cold weather jackets, pullovers, ponchos, hats or mittens.
