"Banana Silk" is handspun from readily renewable banana stalk which is similar to rayon in terms of softness & sheen but keep in mind that some of the profits go to support fair trade women's cooperatives in Nepal. "Banana Silk" is spectacular knitted & crocheted into hats, shawls, scarves, bags & more.
Please Note: Due to the nature of handspun yarn, there may be tied knots or breaks in the skein. The manufacturer recommends that you alternate skeins of this yarn for the most uniform color.
