"Cashtweed" from Lana Grossa is a heavy worsted weight yarn of 93% merino wool with 6% cashmere, to soften the texture. This fiber has two brushed colors wrapped with two plied strands of the same shades. The thin strands give a tweedy effect to the subtle earth tones of this yarn. Quick-to-knit on larger needles, "Cashtweed" is suited to afghans, throws, jackets, sweaters, cardis and hats as well as scarves.
