Plymouth's "Sockotta Sock" yarn is primarily designed for sock patterns as its name suggests but can be used for other lightweight projects requiring fingering weight yarn. Made from 45% cotton, 40% wool, and 15% nylon, "Sockotta Sock" is mutli-colored and machine washable, with a thin white twist throughout.

Not springy enough for socks. Mine keep growing throughout the day. But this makes the most luscious spring weight baby sweaters that get softer everytime you wash them.

I'm crocheting narrow scarves with 2 colorways I ordered from Discontinued Brand Name Yarn website in June 2009. SOCKOTTA Tequila Sunrise 364 is a LOVELY colorway for my improvised 4 x 74 inch scarf. Sunny Side Up 617 will be same pattern & length with yarn remaining for another scarf. I like fingering weight, BUT never made socks-- only narrow scarves as I wear daily while teaching! Would buy more in additional colors--I LOVE the colors & feel!
