I made a scarf with my first project and I'm hooked on it. Although, I'm considered a beginner knitter my goal is a sweater. I'm use to buying yarn over the counter at like Wal-Mart but when I started with my knit shop I was amazed with the types of yarn. I plan on doing an afghan for my secret sister at church my knit shop doesn't carry the line of chunky which is what the pattern calls for. But they'll help find the type of yarn. I want to learn everything about knitting and my shop is forever helpful with it. Thanks for offering this site for us since we can order the yarn we need to. Debra from Michigan. Go Wings,Go.
