Stacy Charles' "Ziggy" is an unusual yarn. Small boucle yarn and shiny plied yarn are woven into a half inch strip that looks like ric-rac. From a distance the yarn resembles chenille. It could even be considered a ribbon yarn, because both sides are stitched to create the pattern. This rich-looking yarn is available in variegated colors. Made of 30% wool, 50% rayon and 20% nylon, it can be hand washed and dried flat. A bulky weight yarn, it can be used to make hats, scarves, sweaters, jackets and ponchos.
