This cotton has served me well - has a lovely shine that gives a flow to finished garments and a really nice drape - better then many of the other cottons of similar weight I have used. Great colors and often findable on sale :)

I wish, I wish, I wish this yarn was more widely available. Sadly, I think the lack of popularity is strickly due to lack of patterns specifying this yarn. littleknits.com is still carries a few colors. This is one of my all time favorite cotton yarns!! The yarn holds up like an egyption cotton, even though just a mercanized cotton. The colors remain vibrant with machine washing. The only slight downside is the importance of using the same lot yarn. After trying several cottons yarns to knit children's clothes (Debbie bliss was one of my least favorites), the yarn stands up to for years to machine washing. I am in process of leaving my day job and going to begin company designing knitting patterns. I would love to publish with King Tut yarn- but sadly, because of it's scarcity, I am leary of designing with this yarn- other than for my own personal use.
