Astra was always my favourite yarn for baby sweaters and hats. It washes up nicely and it is thick enough to knit up quickly. It holds its shape very well also. I return to it time after time. A very versatile yarn.

Asta yarn is wonderful, especially for babies and childres's patterns. I am searching for a young girls pattern for a sweater using Astra yarn which had a light backround with colorful "hands" on the body and sleeves. This is an old pattern and I would dearly love to make it again for my new granddaughter. I believe it is a Patons pattern. Can anyone help?
