I purchased 5 hanks of Noro Blossom to make a handbag, but I don't have a pattern to use. I had thought that I would felt it, but now think that it would be a waste of beautiful. If anyone has used this yarn for a handbag would you please comment and tell what kind of pattern you used. I've used the Noro Kureyon yarn many times for felting and have great results.

The Simply Noro book by Jane Ellison has a simple handbag made from 4 skeins of Blossom. I think it has been felted (just saw photos on-line). It looks that way anyway. I really love the way that the Noro products felt because the striping really becomes intense with some stripes only 1/4 inch or so and others quite wide. I have never seen Blossom felted in real life before but it should work provided the nylon doesn't goof things up.

I am looking for one or two skeins of Noro Blossom in color 5. I have 2/3 of my last sleeve of a sweater. Please email me if I can purchase it.
