Very disappointed in this yarn. It just isn't soft and I wouldn't use it for a garment next to baby's skin...probably better for an afghan. It is easy to work with but if you're planning on making baby clothes there are much nicer yarns in this price catagory.

I crocheted a lapghan using 3 yarns together: Lion Brand Babysoft in Cream (99) & Bluebell (107) with SWTC Karaoke Bloom/lavender shades (281) of 50/50 soy silk/wool. LOVELY 3 yarns crocheted together in a Vanna White repeated in an open shell pattern. In October 2010 I gifted to my sister for her birthday --she said FANTASTIC! These 2 Babysoft yarns are soft & combined with the Karaoke are not too warm in lapghan to cuddle under during cold northern Minnesota winters. It's decorated with 49 small white & blue crocheted flowers across the top & cascading down the edges! I was pleased with the combination of colors & yarns.
