This is a great yarn, and I cannot understand why Cascade discontinued it. It is easy and very pleasant to knit, blocks beautifully - though the alpaca content can 'grow' quite a lot - and feels wonderful as a garment.

i agree! this WAS incredible yarn. i got a wonderful deal on some in the grey tweed last year & made a gigantic Clapotis -- sooo soft! i made several other items; it is incredibly cozy, terrific on wood, metal, or plastic, & a snuggly finished item.

I understand that Cascade has brought back Lana d'Oro; their current listing at their website shows about 2 dozen colors.
