Stars is the softest fake fur I've seen (and I love the fake fur yarns so I'm always seeking and testing). It has lovely little sparkles in it and knits up very nicely. Machine washing is not recommended; the fur clumps up and doesn't unclump no matter what! Hold it along with a strand of wool or cashmere to get a furry, warm hat.
