I just received an order of the greys. I like the feel of this yarn and the price is right. I completely agree about the greens. I haven't tried knitting with it yet, but it seems like it will be pleasant to work with.

This yarn is very soft and a pleasure to knit with. I ordered red and black and the red is very vibrant...on my moniter it looked more pink than in real life. But moniters vary.

I like this yarn but I wish it came in many more colors. In order to knit really great fair isle sweaters you need to have a huge range of color. Definately disappointed in the greens.

This particular yarn was not as soft as I expected based on my previous experience with wool from Knit Picks, but made a lovely lace scarf that did soften considerably upon washing and blocking. I was disappointed that they had gotten rid of so many of their anchor colors when they incorporated the heathers, but they seem to have reintroduced them now with different names (purple is eggplant, green is clover, et cetera).

BEAUTIFUL colors--I counted 52-- & BEAUTIFUL yarn indeed! I crocheted two 2 1/2-in. scarves in Sky (23723) & Blush (23718) in open pattern as it's fingering 100% Peruvian Highland wool. A truly soft yarn & easy to make up with E hook. When I showed these 2 scarves to women friends, they marveled at the delicate yarn & soft pastel colors. Plan to crochet 2 other colors: Peach & Pool using same pattern. Bargain at $1.99/skein-- 50 gr/231 yd; didn't use but 3/4 skein. Ordered from Knit Picks website in early May & plan to order more. Heathers are priced at $2.19.
