This is a nice sparkle yarn but it's weight is more of a sport weight than DK. If used by itself, the knitted project is itchy against the skin. I tried to use 1 strand of a wool blend with this yarn but the sparkle would get hidden with the other yarn for multiple stitches. I'm knitting the shrug and tube top from Filatura Di Crosa Fall/Winter 2004 and it's taking a lot of 25 gram balls. You can get this for $8.50/ball from yarnfwd.com. Local knitting stores price it at $11/ball.
