This is a great basic yarn for summery garments. It's a shiny, loosely plied cotton. It's a little easy to snag, but still a pleasure to knit with.

I am using Cotton Twist for a long-sleeved, turtleneck w/ placket fall sweater. It's nearly finished and has a nice weight for cool but not yet frigid temperatures. As reported by the previous post, the yarn is loosely plied and you will split stitches from time to time, but don't let that keep you from trying it. I think you'll enjoy both the knitting and the wearing.

I used this for a crocheted purse, it worked quite well though as the others said, it was easy to split the stitches. It's not extremely soft but is nice and sturdy and has a little shine to it to make it more interesting (unlike the similar Classic Elite Flash, which has similar weight and feel but no shimmer).

Great sturdy yet lightweight yarn. The rayon strand gives it a nice sheen and prevents the cotton from becoming misshapen after wearing it for 2 seconds. Drawback: loosely plied, so it's rather snaggy and you have to pay attention while knitting.
