Taki's Donegal Tweed is fantastic and has mega yardage for the price of the hank (yes, you'll have to rewind into a pull skein but worth the effort. This yard works well for crocheted sweaters. I made two bulky turtleneck pullovers entirely in front post relief double crochet. My son and granddaughter loved them!

This is a great felting wool too. Used single strand on 5.5mm, the felted fabric is moderately firm. Suggest double strand and perhaps 6.5 to 7mm needle for firmer fabric. Many wools seem to dull up after felting. The Donegal Tweed colors remain bright. Slightly fuzzy felted fabric - softer & less fuzzy than Noro Kureyon (which I love for felting).

I found a sweater in Winter Family Cirlce, Easy Knitting 2004-05 made with Tahki/Soho Bulky Tweed in #331 and 335. Does anyone know where I may find these colours? I'll watch this post for any help. Thanks Gwynn B. Canada.

I have a few skeins of what appears to be charcoal grey, but has a color number of 0885. I cannot find this color, and am very confused. It's from many years ago-- have they altered color numbers? I'd love to get more to match.

I am looking for a dark charcoal grey color with slubs of orange, green burgundy and some white in it. I ned to know what color number it is. Can anyone help? I just can't see well enough on these computer screen images and the small sample size.
